Consistent Color

I think I may have found a consistent color/lighting/edit for these photos.  I have had such a hard time.  I want nice, clean light.  But, I also don't want cool, drab tones, nor overly warm tones!  :) I see what I want in others' photos but don't know how to achieve it in mine.  For Wendy's shoot- I wanted to give bright color pop to the Easter dresses, highlight those gorgeous blondes, and also in some, give an airy, fairytale, girlhood feel.  Still have a ways to go.. but for her printing and hanging images together on a wall, a certain level of consistency needs to be there- which is why I did the BW images similarly.  Here's a few with color.  (If they look grainy-- I exported with "Sharpening for Print" rather than for screen because I don't want to spend the time exporting again if I don't have to.  Just know, that they aren't grainy, or going to be (so "they" tell me-- in my books.)

Whaatttttt???? Why is her dress so minty?! Grrrrrrrr! Guess I will be re-doing that one!

Peachy

I like the coloring of this one-- I sampled a neutral value area in her bow to set the white balance.  ( I know that's confusing to others--) I used some peach and creamy tones and I wish I had written down what I did because I like the coloring and I seem to have such struggles in that area.

I like this one of her because it is a natural smile and not "CHEESE!"

Project 52: Darks and Lights

This week was supposed to be "Express Yourself" and "Darks and Lights" in a couple of weeks.  But, I have had other priorities and thought this one from yesterday fit the bill..I did some editing and cropping.  Usually, on Project 52 I keep working until I LOVE it.  This one might grow on me, but I am  feeling a little slackerish for not pursuing it until I love it-- and for cheating. :)  I have issues. Anyway, here is my Project 52 offering for this week.

couple more BW and a group shot

Wisteria

This isn't this week's photo challenge! :) But, remember last year when I wished I had stopped to photography the wisteria and I didn't do it and then it was gone? Well, I did it this morning.  As the focus falls off, you probably can't see- but down below is a hilly vineyard just showered in warm sunlight.  So amazingly gorgeous.
I might skip around on the Project 52 and do a different theme with another image from this shoot.  (hey, it's cheating a little, but I'm busy and I have to be resourceful.)

Overflowing,delicate beauty,
Upheld and protected by steady, solid lines of strength,
 Bathed in rays of grace.
