First Shot at Blogging

Today is my first attempt at blogging! :) I was already stuck for quite a while at the "title" prompt. It is not an easy to task to come by inspiration, symbolism, creativity, etc with little ones running around at high speeds! So, in a quiet moment, stolen with the label, "I have to go potty."--- the title to my little photography blog was created. "Captured to Cherish" will be the name and it is fitting I think, because it seems to be what inspires me and motivates me to want to do a better job in freezing moments and images through photography. So many times I wish that I had teeny-tiny camera lenses in my eyes to capture spectacular yet fleeting views. Beauty is so easily found all around me. It is my hope that this photography journey will give me the tools I need to be able to capture in an image what is striking or stirring.  The thought that one day I might be able to capture on my camera the complete mood of a scene, the underlying emotion in an interaction, the utterly raw, untainted beauty of a natural setting..... see what I mean? Can't wait.
